I close my eyes firmly and press my face against Dillon's chest. For some reason having him close eases the burning pain. The music in the background begins to fade away as Dillon carries me into the house. "It's okay Jessica, just breathe," he whispers, holding me tight. His muscles are very tense. "Make it stop," I beg, gripping his shirt. Dillon groans, hugging me closer to him. "I'm working on it baby, I promise, it will all be over soon," he tells me as I hear a door swing open. Using his foot, Dillon closes the door behind him and places me softly on the bed. When he pulls back, leaving me on the soft bed I feel the burning return.
