The convertible's top is down, and the cool night air rushes past us as we fly down the highway. Kieran cranks up the radio, and funnily enough, a Taylor Swift song starts playing through the speakers. Instead of changing the station, Kieran drums his hands on the steering wheel in time with the beat, and I can’t help but laugh at how carefree he looks.
“I know you like her! Come on, sing with me, angel!” he calls over the wind, grinning like a kid.
“You don’t want to hear me sing,” I tease back, but he starts belting out the lyrics, off-key and unapologetic.
