When I open my eyes next, the first thing I notice is how heavy my body feels.
My eyes are heavy, my head feels heavy, and I feel sore from top to bottom. Like I’ve just spent an entire day working out at the gym or something. Slowly, I stretch my arms, yawning as I take in the room around me. I realize that I'm alone, but the spot next to me is still warm. Kieran must have slept here.
