“May I have this dance?” Jayden asks, his eyes locking with mine.
Carson nods and steps aside. Jayden then steps in front of me, his hand opens and I gladly take it. He gently pulls me closer and we start to move to the music. The room seems to shrink around us, and the rest of the world is fading away.
“You look so beautiful, my luna,” He says, whispering into my ear, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
My luna…
I swallow hard at the word, and I can’t stop my lips from smiling. Jayden sees that too and he’s smiling right back.
“Great speech, by the way,” He says again while keeping me close and moving our bodies together.
“Thank you,” I reply, snaking my arms around his neck.
“Everything you said is true and I can’t wait for it to be us someday,”
