By the time we reach the estate, it’s close to midnight. We make our way into the house and our clothes are drenched from the rain and they drip all over the marbled floor. I start walking towards my room when Kieran suddenly grabs my hand.
“Wait,” He says.
Will you stay with me tonight?
He didn’t say the words out loud, but I heard it loud and clear. He looks at me like his life depends on it, waiting on my every move. Not wasting another second, I nod my head and light fills his eyes.
He lends out his hand and I take it. We start walking down the halls as he leads me toward his room. Once he closes the door behind us, he turns to me and says, “We need to get you out of these wet clothes… You can shower first,”
