Eight Months Later

It's been almost eight months since Nikki went into a deep sleep.
I have never left her side. I watched her belly grow every day until she went into labor.
Since she's a shifter, she gave birth to a baby boy and a baby girl in only six months. She had to have a C-section since she was still unconscious.
I named the boy Aaron Ryder Preston. I decided to let Nikki name the girl when she wakes up.
Tyson and Dyson have been to see Nikki and they cry every night for her. They sometimes sleep by her feet in their tiger forms. When they don't sleep here, in my room, they sleep in Nikki's room.
The babies are now two months old. I have never let them out of my sight. They sleep in their crib at night by my bed.
For all these seven months, I have held Nikki
