The sound of the door shutting was all Rihanna heard through her grief, lights suddenly coming on as she blinked, Sandra, Kenneth and Casey also a few feet away from her looking just as stricken, momentarily blinded by the brightness flooding the room.
Sandra rushed over to Rihanna "where's Candy?" she asked already dreading the answer she suspected was coming.
"Dead' Rihanna wailed "Candy's dead and it's all my fault" she sobbed hysterically "I couldn't help her, couldn't get to her. It was horrible" she whispered beginning to rock back and forth as Sandra's legs buckled and she too sat.
