“Luna Carmella!” Janina’s voice trembled with relief as she saw me. She quickly stood up from where she had been sitting on the floor outside my sister’s room, a tray of untouched breakfast beside her.
I exhaled a deep breath. Camilla had clearly refused food again.
“How is she?” I asked, though I already knew what Janina would say.
Her expression fell, sadness tugging at her features as she struggled to keep her composure. “Luna Camilla still won’t eat. She hasn’t touched a thing since yesterday, and I’m... I’m really worried, Luna.” Her voice wavered with emotion.
I took a steadying breath, fixing my gaze on the door as if I could see Camilla on the other side. “Alright. I’ll handle it,” I told Janina, offering a reassuring pat on her shoulder.
