King Migard mourned Dimitri’s death.
He wasn’t the only one. The whole kingdom joined him in this, especially the soldiers and some of Dimitri’s fellow knights. Nevertheless, the impact was still the greatest on King Migard because, as the body of Dimitri was examined, it was brought to light that his death was caused by overfatigue – something which Migard blamed himself for.
But Candida herself never blamed the king. In fact, she has remained quiet in the house where she lived alone. Not attending any summons to the castle which Migard respected and understood quite well. Already finding it a mercy that Candida still decided to work as a knight despite what happened to her husband.
