A few days have passed after the incident with Gerard.
During this time, the acolytes noticed a considerable change to their trainer. As if he has lost all purpose in life and, his will to live at the same time. But they weren’t concerned for him of course. In fact, they loved the current vegetable-like state of the juror which, lessened the amount of punishments they got.
Damian, in particular, found this to be very delightful. He has wanted to get the juror off his case for a long time already. To him, it seems like the pep talk and the slapping of the Head Juror finally gave a change of heart to Gerard. One which surprised Damian who, thought that the jurors all wanted the same thing. That is, to punish all of the acolytes to their heart’s content.
