Things are still a big blur to Heist. But what he understands is that, he has been set up. But there was a big flaw in his understanding. Because instead of thinking that Migard was the one who plotted this, he thought that Dimitri was the ringleader to the operation.
“You dare get in the way of my dreams!” Heist shouted, finishing his casting as his sword got engulfed in flames.
In his head, the reason why Dimitri was there was because the head knight caught wind of the news. He thought that, through some soldiers, Dimitri was informed of his possible ranking up. This led to his conclusion. That Dimitri was there to finish him off and, to ensure that he won’t be getting the position. After all, Heist himself would’ve done the same.
