The king and Damian were both surprised.
In front of them and, holding what seemed to be a corrupted staff was none other than Candida Ashford. They looked all around and saw all the dead nuns and priest which didn’t have a single drop of blood on them. Nor was there any mutilation done with their bodies. They were simply dead and, for whatever reason, this unsettled Damian and the king even more.
