“I told you there wasn’t anyone following us.” All the cloaked figures looked on the alleyway in front of them. The fire was supposed to burn something which, their leader felt was following them. Yet it didn’t make contact with anything, nor was any sound made. The only thing they saw was the dark and empty pathway. Which didn’t offer a single soul. “I could’ve sword I heard someone.” The attacker said. “That’s just you and your enhanced senses taking over again. Now let’s go. The mistress is waiting for us.” The attacker looked at the alleyway one last time. Waiting for any sign of life to appear. Yet, there was none of it. “Right.” Was the only thing he was able to say as, he and the other cloaked figures finally went their way. A whole minute of this passed. No light nor any kind
