The training regime which Alice prepared for them didn’t just end in a single day. While the first day was used in order to assist them in gathering mana, the second day was entirely used for combat. But not the ordinary kind. After all, it is the king of Obelisk himself which they are fighting. A person who prides himself in slaying both demons and devils alike. A veteran warrior who fights in the front-lines and, braves any threat or danger without flinching.
