I've never really had female friends, not even when I was younger. Since I grew up with Ryder, CJ and Russ, I always preferred hanging out with guys. By the time high school rolled around, I realized that girls only wanted to befriend me to get closer to Ryder. Needless to say, I kept my distance. While I've had a few acquaintances here and there, Courtney was my first real friend. She's been there for me every time a needed her and even sometimes when I didn't know I needed her. I try to do the same, but when we were separated by hundreds of miles, it was hard to do.
Now that we're back in Florida for good, I'm excited to have my best friend back.
