Rehan was already getting dressed when I got up. His nanny was also in the room, assisting him and making sure he had everything he needed for school.
I stayed up late last night, so I got up late. I should be the one taking care of my child now that I'm here. I'll make it up tomorrow.
"Good morning, mommy!" he greeted me cheerfully.
"Good morning, baby boy. I'll just take a quick shower." I didn't kiss him yet because I had just woken up.
We went downstairs together after I got dressed. There was a housekeeper waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs.
"They're already waiting for you in the dining room, Ma'am," she informed me.
I smiled at them and greeted back. She smiled and gave a slight bow, then led us to the dining area.
