I need to stay here in the hospital for twenty-four hours after donating bone marrow.
The procedure was done inside the operating room where they inserted needles under my skin and into the back of my pelvic bone to draw the marrow out. The procedure took two hours.
I hope Rehan will recover quickly after his transplant. He won't be able to go home right away. If everything goes well, he can be discharge after one to three months.
