CINDY’S POV I tugged the duvet tighter, trapping what little warmth I could as the freezing sting of the AC crawled over my skin. A low groan escaped me, my senses dragging themselves back from what was possibly the best sleep I’d had in three years. Nothing—and I mean nothing—beats the luxury of stretching out my legs without waking up cramped.
