I didn't expect Lily to make such a request. I couldn't help but frown.
It was Lily who pushed me away, saving me from the car accident.
But I never considered making her my mate.
I never said that what she did was unnecessary. As an Alpha, my wolf would have me dodge the danger at the speed of light.
Saying that would make me seem heartless.
Perhaps seeing my continued silence, Lily couldn't help but speak up, "Alpha Marsh, have you fallen for Olivia?"
"No."
"Then why don't you mark me? Why don't you make me your mate?"
"Because I don't like you."
"If Olivia is your second chance, would you mark her again?"
"No."
"Olivia won't be your second chance either, Alpha Marsh. I can tell she truly doesn't want to love you anymore."
