Landon's POV
Soon, Wendy led me upstairs.
"Ms. Johnson," I said.
I have been Alpha Justin's Beta for over twenty years, so I couldn't help but carry a bit of his condescending pride in my voice.
Olivia let out a light hum. "Landon, the honor is all mine with your visit."
Alpha Justin used to look down on Olivia. That somewhat influenced me.
Even though Olivia's status has changed. She's no longer the person she was before, but we were used to belittling her.
So, my attitude towards her now wasn't much better.
Olivia used to treat me with great respect. It was the first time she's spoken to me in such a manner.
A wave of dissatisfaction welled up in my heart. But thinking of Alpha Justin's instructions, I suppressed myself. "Ms. Johnson, Alpha Justin needs you now. Go with me."
