        Everything seemed to be stripped away from Blake. At every turn, something was happening to Roxy  that he just could not protect her from. His heart felt as if it shrunk inside with every beat after the  explosion.         His pack members had been there helping him put out the fire for over an hour now. It was pitch black  out with the only light source coming from the few streetlamps located along the road.         With each passing moment Blake was expecting her body to be pulled from the wreckage, for her to be  unrecognizable. Maybe he was a fool because he held onto a slimmer of hope that she somehow survived.  After all, she had been through worse.         Silent prayers were spoken to the moon goddess. Him telling her that he would do anything if she  saved Roxy. H
