I woke up early. Wednesday morning.
The house was quiet. Two bedroom place on the edge of town. Bought it with money from jobs Kane had given me over the years. Little payments here and there. Cash he didn't know about.
Good thing I'd been smart about it. When Kane stripped my jacket, I had somewhere to go.
Tyler was in the other room. I could hear him pacing. Back and forth. Back and forth.
Guy never slept. Just walked around. Thinking about his girl.
