(Ridge) I watched Mira walk to the bedroom to get ready for work. She was still here. Still mine. For a minute this morning, I thought I'd lost her. When she walked out that door, when she drove away, I couldn't breathe. The idea of her leaving, of not coming back, made me feel like I was drowning. I'd called Harlow immediately. Told her to find Mira. Bring her back. And she did. But the fight wasn't over. Not really. Mira came back out wearing her work clothes. Jeans, t shirt, hair pulled back. She looked at me.
