At noon, Harlow walked through the door.
"Ready?" she asked.
"Yeah. Let me grab my bag."
I told Hank I was leaving and walked out with Harlow. We got in her car and she started driving.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"The mall in the city. They have everything there."
"Sounds good."
Harlow glanced at me. "Ridge said he gave you a card?"
I pulled it out of my wallet and showed her. Black. My name in silver letters.
Harlow's eyes went wide. "Is that what I think it is?"
"Yeah. He said to buy whatever I want. No limit."
"Holy s**t, Mira. Do you know what this means?"
"That Ridge has money?"
"That Ridge is serious about you. Guys don't just hand out black cards. This is big."
I put the card back in my wallet. "I know."
