(Mira) I woke up the next morning to sunlight coming through my window. I'd barely slept. Every time I closed my eyes, all I could think about was Ridge. The kiss. The way he'd looked at me when he said I was his. And the voicemails from my family. I got up and got dressed. Jeans and a sweater. Fixed my hair. Looked at myself in the mirror.
