Jee and Lah Ann are receiving visitors at Lah Ann’s house. Tung’s friends were there to give their condolences. Every guest also gives Lah Ann a white envelope. Jee is processing the loss of her husband and her brother, not a month apart. She hadn’t seen Hoang and Eriu enter the house.
Lah Ann stares at Hoang and Eriu in disbelief and wonders why they are there. Neither one liked her father.
Eriu is looking around the room, happy as hell that Tung is dead, and thinking that now they can get control of Lah Ann again.
