Colton POV
I woke up early in the morning with my beautiful mate curled up against my chest. Hearing her light snores let me know that she was still sleeping. I laid still in bed so I wouldn’t wake her. She hadn’t been sleeping the best lately, so I definitely wanted her to get as much sleep as she could.
It’s been five months since we first found out Jess was pregnant. I’m surprised my hair hasn’t turned grey from how stressful it’s been. I know I’ve been a bit overbearing and protective, but I just can’t help it. It’s the Alpha in me that makes me act that way.
Jess’s belly has gotten huge. I still can’t believe she’s carrying two babies in there. The doctor told us at our last appointment that she could go into labour anytime now. Of course that news made me even more overbearing.
