The next morning Alpha Colton and I had breakfast together, before heading into the forest for a run. I was a little bit nervous. It’s been so long since I last shifted, I can only imagine, that it might be a little painful this time. I’m glad he will be with me, his presence is always so comforting.
“You nervous?” He asked, as we reached the tree line.
“A little bit, it’s been a while, I’m not really sure what to expect.” I replied.
“I’ll be here with you, we will get through it together.” He said, with an encouraging smile.
