I lean on the door as I hear Jace’s footsteps walking away.
I can’t help but sigh.
I'm completely turned on by what just happened. These pregnancy hormones have gotten me horny, and Jace is not helping the situation. I would have had Jace two ways to Sunday, but we only started to get to know one another.
I moved away from the door and sat on the bed, remembering Dan coming to the room to make sure I was alright. He was under a lot of pressure, and being away from the pack didn’t help him. He told me to give Jace a chance.
Dan didn’t tell me what was going on, but how he stared at me made me think something was going on within the pack.
I agreed to go and talk to Jace, but seeing his face when I walked into the office made my stomach churn with the desire to be with him.
