Arriving at Evelyn's duplex, I parked my car in front of her house and alighted. As I got out of the car, the main door opened and Evelyn stepped out, smiling sweetly like she didn't just ruin my life.

“Don't patronize me, Evelyn. I see no reason why you're trying to act all nice to me, after what you've done," I responded with a frown, but she still kept her smile.
