Chapter 47 : First day at a new school

Standing in front of my new school gate, memories of my former school came rushing into my head. No doubt, I missed Woodbury. Though there was a lot going on, I still missed the school atmosphere. Stepping into the school compound, the loud noises of students chatting, laughing, and even playing music filled my ears. The school was twice bigger than Woodbury. The first thing that caught my attention was the big poster in front of the school, with "The University of New Orleans" written on it. It was very beautiful and pleasing to the eyes. Heading into the main building, I pulled out the school pamphlet my father had given me. He told me he got it from the registrar.
