Fortunately for Georgina, she woke up the next morning in a much better situation. Though her body throbbed with pain, when she opened her eyes, she found herself in a luxurious private hospital room with medical equipment softly beeping beside the bed.
Georgina moaned as she attempted to sit up, but a warm hand gently pressed against her shoulder. Blinking away the fog from her vision, she gradually focused on the person sitting beside her bed. Her heart skipped when she recognized Klaus's handsome face. She gasped and tried again to rise, but his hand remained firm, silently insisting she stay still.
