Nova The first thing I hear is dripping water. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. My entire body aches as I come to. Drip. My head feels like it is in a vice. I try moving my arms and legs, but I can’t. Drip. I open my eyes and cringe. Drip. I am sitting on a cold, hard floor. It’s made of stone. Drip. My arms are shackled above my head while my legs are shackled to the ground. Drip. I am also naked. I shiver as I look around. Drip. The walls are covered in moss and mold, with a tiny window far above my head. Drip. I hear heavy footsteps descending a corridor and brace myself for what comes next. The heavy wooden door flies open, and on cue, Bram steps in.
