Marsai: It was Jay. The shock hit me first, but it quickly turned into disgust. I could feel it twisting my face, and Jay’s loud, obnoxious laugh told me he noticed. “Let me go!” I snapped as I yanked my wrist out of his grip. It wasn’t even that hard—he wasn’t as strong as he thought. “What the hell are you doing here?” I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady. “Oh, you didn’t know?” he said, leaning in slightly like he was letting me in on some big secret. “Dessie and I? We’re a thing now. So, technically, I have every right to be in this pack mansion.” “I don’t care, Jay. Be with whoever you want.
