Just like Navian had said, I didn’t have a single nightmare. Just pure, uninterrupted sleep with the triplets by my side all night, keeping me wrapped in warmth and safety.
It felt unreal.
The next morning came with no drama. We got ready and headed off to school like everything was perfectly normal.
And then Hana saw me.
I braced myself, expecting cold stares or some dramatic scene—but instead, she ran straight to me and threw her arms around me in a tight hug. So tight I could barely breathe.
“I missed you so much, Marsai!” she said, pulling back just enough to hold my face in her hands, her fingers gently brushing my cheeks.
I couldn’t help but laugh as I gently peeled her hands off my cheeks.
“Missed me? Hana, we literally saw each other yesterday.”
“I know!” she poute
