Navian’s POV: Everything felt weird. Martins had surprisingly turned down Miles’ offer to donate blood for Marsai. Well, his excuse was that Miles was still recovering from the attack by the undead wolves. He rejected mine too, claiming I needed to heal from my own bite. We tried to convince him we were fine. More than capable, actually. But he wouldn’t listen. Instead, he reassured us that Marsai would wake up soon and start getting better, even though it might take a little time.
