Hana shivered, her body trembling as I locked eyes with her. All i needed was just answers. I wasn’t leaving without them. I could see Beads of sweat cling to her forehead, betraying her unease.
Then, out of nowhere, she straightened up, tossed her head back, and started laughing. Laughing. What the hell was so funny?
"Come on, Marsai. You scared me!" she said, walking over and grabbed my arms. "Let’s get to class, yeah? We’re already super late."
Was she for real? I glared at her, and my face hardened into a frown. But she didn’t flinch. She just held onto my arm, smiling like nothing had happened.
