Nia’s Pov The meeting dragged on for another twenty minutes, filled with tense voices, scribbling pens, and the scratching sound of chairs as people shifted uncomfortably. Rowan paced near the front, giving out final assignments, his tone still sharp but calm. “Patrol teams A and B, you’ll take the eastern and northern borders,” he ordered, eyes sweeping across the table. “Clara, I want you to coordinate with the security leads and handle communication between shifts.
