I rushed towards the room with my heart beating fast. I could feel everything my mate was feeling, and it was killing me. I pushed the door open, quickly noticing that it wasn’t locked, and immediately found Valerie sitting on our bed. She was facing one of the blue walls looking like she wanted to cry, but no tears fell from her eyes. I approached her slowly, trying not to scare her.
