Five months after our victory in The Ultimate War, a lot had changed - not just for our pack, but for our society as a whole.
The most significant change was the impact it had on the relationship between foxes and wolves. Fintan had officially become Mariners Moon’s Lune, bound to the pack and its members by blood. It pressured the U.S. Elder Council into creating laws to stop our species from killing one another. They even managed to reach out to one of the last fox Elders in existence to regulate everything. Little by little, foxes were starting to come out of their hiding spots and create their own packs, which were called skulks. Of course, after centuries of hostility, it would take a while before there was actual peace, but it was a start.
