CHAPTER 24
I walked into the house, closing the door behind me, a sad sigh escaping my lips. I turned around to find Rose and Lilly looking at me, their faces a mask of anticipation.
“What?” I questioned.
“What happened? Did you get your gold fish?” Lilly wiggled her eyebrows mischievously.
“I think I actually blew up my chances. So am just going to go upstairs, take a really nice shower and then take good nap,” I didn’t bother waiting to hear their reply as I walked upstairs into my room.
