“You know what? Rose is in a bad state right now so we should probably focus on that,”
Lilly turned heading for the door, the guilty in me tripling. I should tell her the truth but something seemed to be holding me back. The worst part was knowing that Devon had been right all along. He said Andrew never cared who he hurt and it was clear that he didn’t.
“You do know he has a fiancée, right?” he inquired suddenly.
“Yes. Why?” I pretended to remain unbothered, though deep down that statement brought back the rage I had over Andrew.
