I would not stop fidgeting for a second. And the way the doctor was peering at the open file on his office table was making me more anxious. I felt Nick place his hand on mine and miraculously I relaxed a bit. The doctor finally looked up, pulling his glasses off.

“It looks like my suspicions from earlier were correct. You are pregnant Miss Badoni but you clearly haven’t been taking good care of yourself. You need to relax your mind, take time off work and make sure you eat healthy food,” he advised but I was still trying to process the first part of his statement.
