What just happened? Did Devon’s mother call me a w***e? I tried to breathe to calm down my nerves. Why would she accuse me of seducing her sons? I was disrupted from my thoughts by knock on our door. I couldn’t break my daze as my gaze followed Andrew to the door. It turns out it was our dinner.
“Lana? Are you okay?” Andrew voice broke through my thoughts.
“Yeah am fine,” I swallowed down the bitter lump in my throat.
“Are you sure? Because you look like you have seen a ghost or something worse maybe,”
“Am fine Andrew. I’ll just sleep early because tomorrow Rani is sending over her cousin to pick us up at exactly eight. I wouldn’t want to be late,” I said, shutting down my laptop.
After putting my laptop away, I pulled the beddings over me, refusing to cry.
