Richard and I arrived at the entrance of the room, where the others were still waiting in apparent trepidation.
Richard went straight to Elsie and took her in a warm hug, much of which she relaxed into. I feel sorry for her, she's been having health issues lately and when it seems like she's finally recovered, this just had to happen, putting a new type of strain on her.
"Is it over? Has Evelyn given birth?" I questioned, already knowing the answer but still daring to ask.
"No. The doctor says she hasn't even gone into labor just yet and it's already been a few hours but she's been in pain all this while, probably due to the poison and though we can't hear her screams of pain, we all know just how much pain she must be in right now. I just wish I could tak
