"Don't mock me." I swat his bare tummy with my legs hovering over his laps, getting comforting feet massage.
"I definitely need to take you places before you start speaking baby's language." He joked.
I didn't take offense because I'm aware I've always alienated myself from the crowd as it has been for the best until now that I was progressing. I have people I can call friends, a handsome young man for a boyfriend and a job I got myself fired.
