"Tell me a story before you leave." Lily pleaded.
"I would love to, but darling, I have to go help my mom arrange everything for tomorrow, you have to understand."
"My mom said I can go with you anytime. What if I go with you now?" She stood up from the orange sofa in her bedroom, and I smiled sadly at her.
"Lily, your mom said you two are going to the salon for your nails."
It would be cool to have her with me at my home until later in the evening, but Mrs. Lincoln wants to hang out with her daughter today.
