"How are you feeling?" I ask the girl wrapped in my blanket since after I came back from an isolated run this morning.
Griffin must have been exhausted from last night that he slept off through the time of our routine, maybe.
"I don't know... happy but broken... he was cheating with her—” She halted, whimpering fretfully.
I have no inkling of relationship guidance, so I stare at her with sympathy before me.
"I can't afford to lose him... I am deeply invested. I know he feels the same way too. We've been together ever since we were little. He has to feel the same as I do." She sobs with tears rolling down her face.
