“I guess we should go back down,” I smiled at her then leaned over the side of the cart to see the line ups beneath us. I totally owed Henry for pausing the ride, because as I looked back at my beautiful mate I felt totally settled.
“I think we should, I have a date to get back to and you have an apology to give,” she winked at me and I groaned. But she was right, I had promised her I’d apologize to Tom in exchange for a kiss, and that was one hell of a kiss. Plus the hickeys that she’d left on my neck were sure to keep his hands off of her for the rest of the night. He had to know he didn’t stand a chance with her, after all I had just completely stolen his date and had a hot make out session with her at the top of the Ferris wheel, among other things.
