Isabella stared at Ignazio for longer than 30 seconds. She could tell that everything was not fine because the look on his face switched faster than a remark from the face of a person who was ready to bid final goodbyes.
“Are you okay?” Isabella inquired her face contorted into a worrisome bowl as she took a step closer to Ignazio, almost disappearing into him.
Ignazio grip on his phone loosened, finally sparing the helpless phone some minutes of suffocation. He stared down at Isabella, wearing an obvious fake smile. “I am fine.” He mouthed caressing her right cheek with his right thumb. Relaying the news to her was the last thing he wanted to do. It was her last day at finals and he wanted every moment to be worth it for her.
